About the therapist.
Here is a little more about me, Briony Barton-Chapple.

My training is in Person-centred counselling. My experience includes providing therapy at London-based organizations MCPS and Bereft, Bereavement Support for the Borough of Ealing.
As a woman I have a special interest in the issues relating to females of all ages, backgrounds and ethics.
As a counsellor I have developed a deep understanding for issues that are female specific and generic too.
I am committed to working in a practice that supports women, empathises with them, and helps them find their self-confidence and self esteem in a safe female only environment.
I am currently in my third and final year of a diploma in Person-Centred Counselling at the Metatonia Institute in London.
I am a member of the following associations:
I abide by the Code of Ethics and Practice issued by the BACP and I am professionally supervised by a qualified supervisor as part of my commitment to ethical practice.
Founding WLWT

Justine O'Brien was the original founder of WLWT. She was specifically committed to working and supporting women and in 2008, after working at Womans Trust and studying a BA (Hons) in Person Centred counselling at the Metanoia Institute, she established the practice in West London. She has since left WLWT and London to start a practice in Australia.
